Settling In...

This is a time of adjustment for you. You have given up your previous home, with its many associations. You have chosen to live in this Long Term Care Facility which has the capacity for 110 residents. While previously this Home was all female, we now accommodate males when rooms with private washrooms are available.

The Main Office...

The Business Office of the Home is located in the main lobby (East Wing). Mail is distributed daily by the Receptionists. Newspapers may be ordered. Postage stamps may be purchased at the Gift Shop from Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.. Monthly fees will be received at the Main Office.

Money Matters...

Our Accountant's office is located next to the Main Office. Normal financial matters will be handled by the Main Office, however, unusual requests should be directed to the accountant. If banking is difficult for you, you may deposit your money in the Resident's Trust Fund and draw on it as required. Statements will be provided on a monthly basis.

Meals...

The meals are served at 8:00/8:15 a.m., 12:00 noon/12:15 p.m & 5:00/5:15 p.m. The dining room staff are well qualified to serve you but please have patience. There are well over 100 meals served at every meal-time, in the dining room on the main floor (East Wing) and in the dining rooms on each of the two units in the West Wing. Visitors are welcome to join you for meals at a nominal fee, but please let us know as much in advance as possible.
